Contrary to what some of you may think, I do not wake up every morning
wondering what political stuff I should post today. I actually wake up
wondering if today is the day I can now ‘follow’/’subscribe’ some of those
friends whom I still hold dear but cannot bear to read their posts which
contain some really ultra-hate stuff, turning them into people I do not know.
And, I guess, it is the same way they feel about me, too. Unfortunately, things
don’t seem to improve. So with this in mind, I would like to ask all of you
with your protests, your hate messages, your disgusts at all things government,
what is it that you are really upset about? Let’s go through the list one by
one and dissect them.
1. UMNO, BN, NAJIB – so you hate all of these people and people associated with them. Why? Because they have been in power for a long time? So? As long as the number of people want them to stay in power is high, I guess you have no choice but to see their irritating faces in the traditional and social media everyday. Sorry folks, wishing and sulking about it will not just make them disappear from the face of this earth, contrary to what your leaders tell you. And oh by the way, you hate Rosmah as much as you hate Najib, if not more, right? Seriously, what has this short woman done to you? She is a wife and a mother, for heaven’s sake. And to throw those kinds of nasty and evil words on someone who has not hurt you or your family is just downright evil. Imagine if someone says that about your mum or your wife. So okay, she seems to have lots of handbags and big hair and overpriced bling-blings. And she loves shopping, like every other woman I know, your sister, mum, wife included. So what? Both she and her husband come from well-to-do families. So you expect her to wear flitflops with her hair unkempt and handbags made of plastic? Tolonglah, even the S’pore PM’s wife who looks like a man has designer bags, the very least a designer perfume. And because you don’t like her, Rosmah, I mean, you curse everything upon her. For coming late for a weddinglah which was not even her fault as the hosts kept the VVIPs with the wedding couple for picture taking with the Cabinet ministers in the holding room, including the PM, and yet you cursed her, to being placed in between another wedding couple of which the seat was actually placed by the organizers themselves. Please lah, give the woman a break. I am not her best supporter, but I have seen how she is with special kids and to me, she deserves some merit, at least. By the way, I hope you don’t hate them because they are Malays, because that would tantamount to hating me!
2. So you think people of my ilk do not deserve the special Bumi privileges? So okay, push for the government to withdraw them. My family and I for one have never benefited from this – not because we don’t need it, we desperately do, but it’s just too much work. Tak kuasa, understand? I’m sure if you pressure the government enough in a civil way they will actually remove the privileges, just like they did with the ISA and looking at how things have turned out, I would think, regrettably so.

3. Oh yah, I forgot, you hate Mahathir. But why ah? Because you say he is an
ultra-Malay, fighting for the rights of the Malays. What is wrong with that?
Give us a breaklah, we give you nasi lemak, nasi campur, P Ramlee movies, Maya
Karin, Sheila Majid, even Man Bai. Surely you cannot deprive us of someone who
wants to help the Malays even though they easily forget (Melayu mudah lupa). So
Mahathir is like a sore point with you because he was responsible for the KLCC
where you shop so much, KLIA where you depart in pristine comfort for your
holiday, the universities where your children studied, and all other mega
projects that brought in the tourists and the foreign investments. And do you
think only the Malays benefitted from Tun M’s reign? Think again. What have you
to say about Francis Yeoh, Jeffery Cheah, Lee Kim Yew, Ananda Krishna, to name
a few? These people in turn create mega projects so that some of you, my family
and I can cari makan.
4. What next? Oh yes, corruption, cronyism, fraud, all prevalent under BN reign. If that is true, Karma will soon catch up with them, don’t worry. You have seen the most stoic of leaders fall from grace, not because the people will it so, but God took away that power from them. In any case, these are also prevalent among the Opposition groups. DSAI was the ultimate corrupter, cronyism supporter and fraudulent of all as he held the country’s money in his hands during his reign as Finance Minister. And don’t forget those instances of fraudulent DAP elections, shenanigans in Penang and Selangor states, not to mention the sorry state of Kelantan, yet money has been going out of the state.
5. What next? Oh yes, fraudulent elections, blackouts, phantom voters. Please lah, enough is enough. So many explanations have been given, so many investigations have been made, even a Citizen Investigation group has been set up. Everyone that needs to explain has given their all, yet it can never be enough for you. Let the courts decide the fate of your complaints if you decide to go to court with it. And if you think the courts can’t be fair, why don’t I suggest this: pressure the SPR to release the electoral rolls and you go to the homes of those in your list to find out if these people are still alive or dead. You have 5 years to help clean up the roll, so do it lah. And I think you can, Bolehland, remember?
SSo what else? Lots to complain about right? Seriously, if you want to make a change, do it the right way, not the way that is destructive and downright disgusting, because you know why? While you wait for Karma to hit those people whom you hate, Karma may decide to do an about-turn and give you back for the things you have done. You see, the Law of Attraction is such that if you were to wear black everyday, it may easily turn to what the colour generally represents – mourning. Not the blackout, lack of democracy kind of mourning, but the kind where you lose your friends and family members to the ultimate departure – DEATH!
Enough said, am so tired, lah.
